Our doc recommended this product because our baby was not a good sleeper - he had a "jump" reflex where if the swaddle came loose, his arms would flail and wake him up. We could only get him to sleep well in his car seat pod. This positioner solved the problem. It gave us a surface to tuck a light flannel blanket around and under and it made our baby feel snuggled while still positioned properly on his back and in his crib. Baby #2 has been using this product for 4 months and seems to like it just as much. We bring the positioner with us on vacation and she sleeps great. She's getting too big for it now though at 16 pounds.

So far this is working great for us. Our baby is 3 weeks old and about 8 1/2 pounds. She was rolling onto her side in her sleep before, but stays put now.
