My daughter loves both the playground and the carousel. We live near West Portal, but will take the train in just to play here. It's a good day excursion. They have a snack bar and bathrooms.

This carousel isn't our favorite, but since my 2.5 year old old loves just about any carousel, this will do. The first couple of times we went, the music was pretty annoying - classic rock. It seemed better in more recent times. The nearby playground is great, so it does make for a fun outing. We definitely prefer the zoo (and the carousel @ ggpark), but this is pretty cool if you want to go downtown.

I just took my 3 year old daughter to this carousel for the first time and couldn't believe what a deal it was: 2 rides for $3. Plus there is a really fun play area nearby that has a fountain, a cool xylophone as well as several slides and play structures that are fun for kids. In addition, good food was nearby in the Metreon for lunch, as well as the Zeum. We didn't have enough time to do it all!

The Carousel is beautiful and loads of fun for children young and old. You receive two rides with your purchase and adults may go in for free with their toddler - only as long as they remain standing the entire time
