Years ago, this was in a tiny little house next door to the warehouse it is in now. That house was crammed full with great deals and great quality of clothing. The last time I went, it had moved to the warehouse and the deals were really hit or miss. Not sure if it's worth the drive anymore. In the past, the outside was filled with great deals on everything from toys to high chairs, playhouses, etc. Now, the quality has really slipped and the prices had gone up. It's still worth a look, and there are still good deals to be had. The staff in the warehouse section was not very friendly, and never offered to help, even though I was trying to get his attention. The staff inside did not move to help, but was otherwise very friendly.

This is THE place in the Cy-Fair area for families! Teams have their parties here, there is always a birthday party going on, and it's always the place my kids prefer to go. The animals outside are penned in, and so the kids can get some feed for only 25 cents and feed the horses, goats, etc. There is hand sanitizer present, and kids quickly get into a habit of using it. The inside reminds me of a bbq restaurant... everything is wooden and simple. There are several patio areas, and a new party building in the back. We usually sit on the patio and order fried pickles, onion rings, and burgers. The kids always eat then play while Mom and Dad talk and watch. The wait staff is usually high school kids they are very sweet and attentive. They are so at ease with the kids, and it always feels like you've known them a long time - of course, we've been coming pretty regularly so we may have by now. There is also a game room in the back of the main dining area. We never use the game room, as my kids prefer to play in the sand box, feed the animals, and run and play. Large play area!

I buy all my baby gifts here to rave reviews! The owner has impeccable taste for reasonably priced, high quality, unique, adorable clothing and accessories. She also carries the cutest plush toys by JellyCat, great books, and more!

This store has alot of different choices - especially in unique toys that i just can't find in the big stores, and paper (invitations, announcements, etc.). They have birthday boxes, like a registry, but i have never tried that. Most prices are very reasonable, and i have even found things less there than at target.com or toys r us...Last week i bought a great game called Gobblet for 29.99 at learning express, but it was 34.99 at target.com...but i still got free gift wrapping and the girl helping me explained it all. So this specialty store can still surprise me sometimes. I wish the parking was better, so i try and avoid the lunchtime crowd, especially with the construction on kirby right now. And they have a slow wrapper that needs to know i am always in a hurry! Also, they have some other good stores on theblock and across the street, like woman's work and nest n cot.

Pros: Chicken is more like real chicken here vs at other/ traditional fast food joints (McD, BK, etc). You can ask them to make the chicken sandwich "Deluxe on wheat" -- you'll get a wheat bun and lettuce + tomato + pickle instead of just the regular white bun and chicken. I've only gotten a kids' meal once so I can't really review it fairly, but their toys aren't as mainstream (popular) as other fast food joints.
