Zeum is a great, Great place for kids ages 4+. There are many interactive activities, art projects, music projects, video projects, etc

This is most definately for older kids - 6 and above. Big space but very technology focused. Staff was wonderful!

A great place for kids and adults. The zeum (fee for admission) has lots of hands on activities. You may want to check out their daly schedule before arriving as some of the activities are timed and limited in space. The playground (free of charge) has lots of features. Go on a warm day and bring extra clothes for the kids (water spouts).

Zeum is a wonderful hands-on children's museum. They are always changing the exhibits. Yerba Buena Gardens has a nice playground for active children. It's convenient to other downtown San Francisco attractions and public transportation (BART and Muni).

Just a great outing place. The gardens are close by, with the MLK memorial, there's swings at the Zeum centre, as well as the carosel, and if you want culture you can stroll through the SF MOMA or the Yerba Buena centre, or take the kids to the Metreon.
